Collaborative Pathways for Eco-innovation in Sponge City Development

The workshop will identify implementation strategies for eco-innovations within the Sponge City concept in China, and establish a collaborative agenda for work on Sponge Cities. Researchers, policy makers and practitioners will be engaged in this workshop (1) to identify barriers to the Sponge City concept, (2) to highlight recent eco-innovations in urban water management, specifically related to Sponge Cities; (3) to identify strategies for scaling up. Participants will gain insight into innovative technologies and discuss how they can apply these ideas in their own work.
